The academic Delegation with artistic education and the cultural activity of the Vice-chancellorship of Montpellier, in partnership with the DRAC Languedoc-Roussillon allowed to create since September 2007 an educational service within association JAZZ has JUNAS. Proof of its engagement near the young public, this service éductaif supports and supports association with regard to all its teaching actions.
It is Mrs Negraud-Morin, professor of music to the College of Clarensac which was missionnée for the educational service of JAZZ has JUNAS.
This artistic project, which makes L ’ object D ’ a specific financing of the Management of L ’ Éducation of the District council Languedoc Roussillon, will be spread this year on 5 colleges gardois and héraultais. It makes it possible to make discover with the high-school pupils the jazz and the report/ratio which can S ’ establish between the music and D ’ other matters. This interdisciplinary intervention develops according to the colleges of the specific aspects of the jazz: Jazz and Cinema, Jazz and History of Arts, Jazz and Visual arts, Jazz and History A concert, opened to the pupils and to the external public, is organized by L ’ Jazz association in Junas in fence of L ’ intervention within L ’ establishment: - College Philippe Lamour (Nimes), on Tuesday January 13, 2009 with 16:00: Duet of Marc Simon and Bernard
- College Alphonse Daudet (Nimes), on Wednesday January 14, 2009 with 13:30: Hidjaz (electro-jazz).
- College Dhuoda (Nimes), on Wednesday January 21, 2009 with 20:00: Trio Joel Allouche, Dominique Di Piazza, Gerard Pansanel.
- College Louis Feuillade (Lunel), on Friday February 27, 2009 with 14:00: Movies-concert of Marc Simon Dreams D ’ Akira Kurosawa.
- College Ernest Hemingway (Nimes) April 21, 2009: Denis Badault (piano) free Improvisation .

This project, which makes L ’ object D ’ a specific financing of the Management of L ’ Education of the General advice of Gard, must make it possible to the pupils to differently live their schooling, in particular with the arrival D ’ outside contributor. Vagrant ’ Jazz with the college is held in form D ’ artistic workshops of practices within the establishments and in the presence of the professor of music and intervening musicians (Maguelone Vidal with the College of Clarensac, Laurence Saltiel with the College of Calvisson and Raphaël Lemonnier with the College of Sommières). This project finishes in May by two concerts organized by L ’ Jazz association in Junas: a concert of the pupils of L ’ workshop, followed D ’ a concert of professional musicians with the intervening musician.

Within the Wandering framework of the season ’ Jazz, created in 2001, L ’ Jazz association in Junas carries out ludic and participative interventions, animated by regional and national musicians. They S ’ articulate around the alive music, of the artists and their instruments. Thus, to date, of the thousands D ’ children could attend mini-concerts in theatres, discover the jazz and meet musicians.
The pupils of Lunel-Viel on February 6, Sommières on March 6, Calvisson on April 3 and those D ’ Acute-Sharp on May 15 will thus discover the musicians who will play the evening even in their commune.
The project of the Small Wolves of Jazz in Junas, spread out over 3 school years, will allow the setting in contact of the pupils of the schools of the Inter-commune Teaching Regrouping (RPI) Junas-Aujargues-Congénies with musicians of Jazz, with an aim of working with the setting in œ uvre, the creation and the production of spectacles associating children and professionals.
L ’ school year 2008-2009 constitutes L ’ year II of this experiment. This project aims at a better knowledge of the jazz, a discovery of its voice, a better control of its energy, a development of the direction of L ’ listening and in fine the discovery of the pleasure of occurring in front of a public.
L ‘ result of work will give place, like L ’ last year, with a public concert saturdays June 13, 2009 with 18:30 on the place of L ’ Avenir of Junas.
